Hi there! I’m looking for a friendly and organised Airtasker to assist with a few tasks for my 40th birthday this Saturday. This listing covers labour only – I’ll pay directly for any AV hire or balloon costs. What’s involved: Before the event (Thursday or Friday): • Arrange a helium balloon delivery for Saturday (I’ll cover all costs) • Organise the hire of a microphone and amplifier for Saturday delivery or pick-up (again, I’ll pay) On the day (Saturday): • Be at the venue from 6pm to 11pm • Manage the guest list and check people in as they arrive • Be available to assist me with anything I need on the night – from checking the bar tab to handling any small issues that come up The vibe: It’s a relaxed and fun 40th – you just need to be switched on, personable, and happy to lend a hand. Hey! I have a 23rd birthday party on the 23rd of May. Event starts at 7pm and lasts til 12:15am. I'd like a DJ for 3-4 hours of the event, probably for the last leg of the event at 8/9pm-12:15am. We have luckily temporarily rented an underground bar at Surry Hills for the night. Need DJ to bring their own equipment. But since it's at the bar, sound system will be fine I assume. I'd provide most of the music suggestions (happy to have remixes), happy to give a draft playlist and for you to mix and mingle with the playlist to fit your mix. Mainly house/techno, r&b, pop and rap. All sorts of stuff, so I'd need a flexible DJ in terms of music taste. Unfortunately, I am a student, so I don't have much funds to hire a DJ for the night. Budget isn't flexible. Please send me some of your work so I know what you're about. A link to your Instagram or if you could email some previous sets that'd be great.
