Event Staff Needed – Private Party | Wheeler Heights | Sat 14 November We’re looking for 2 experienced, friendly event staff to help with a private party at our home in Wheeler Heights on Saturday 14 November. We’ll be preparing a relaxed Italian-style menu, including wood-fired pizzas from our home pizza oven, grazing food and simple dishes. We’re looking for people who are confident jumping between basic food preparation, cooking assistance, serving and keeping the kitchen running smoothly throughout the party. Tasks will include: * Food preparation and plating before guests arrive * Assisting with preparation and cooking of wood-fired pizzas * Replenishing grazing/food stations * Serving and clearing food throughout the party * Keeping the kitchen, food prep and serving areas clean and organised * Washing glasses, plates and cooking equipment as needed * Clearing rubbish and general tidy-up throughout the event * Helping with the final kitchen clean and pack-down We already have a dedicated bartender, so this role is primarily focused on food, serving and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. We’d love people who are experienced in private events or hospitality, proactive, capable and happy to just see what needs doing and get on with it. Approximately 4-5hours, with exact start/finish times to be confirmed. Looking for $40/hr per person. Please let me know your hospitality/event experience, whether you have experience with food prep or pizza ovens, and your hourly rate. References/reviews preferred.

Birthday Party Catering & Clean-Up Help – 2 People Needed I’m looking for 2 friendly, capable people to help with food, drinks and general clean-up for a birthday party at my home in Umina Beach. Time: 1:30pm–7:30pm (6 hours) All food and drinks will be provided — I’m mainly looking for an extra pair of hands to keep everything running smoothly so I can relax and enjoy the party! Tasks will include: * Setting up food, platters and serving areas before guests arrive * Arranging snacks, grazing platters and other food * Heating simple food — mainly putting things in the oven, following timings and serving when ready * Keeping food and serving platters topped up * Restocking drinks, ice and glasses * Clearing away used plates, glasses and rubbish throughout the party * Loading/unloading the dishwasher and keeping the kitchen tidy * Packing away leftover food * General clean-up towards the end of the party — dishes, wiping surfaces, rubbish and getting the kitchen and entertaining areas back in order There’s no complicated cooking involved — I’ll have everything organised and provide instructions. I’m looking for two people who are proactive, organised and comfortable seeing what needs doing and getting on with it, rather than needing lots of direction throughout the party. Experience in hospitality, events, catering or waiting would be ideal. It’s a relaxed birthday party at our home, and I’m looking for 2 people for the full 6 hours, from 1:30pm–7:30pm. Happy for two people who already work together.
