Hi there, I need a qualified auto electrician (or someone with solid experience in car electrics) to come to my location this morning and help restore power to my 2015 Hyundai Genesis. --- What Happened: Over the past few weeks, rainwater entered the front cabin due to a faulty panoramic sunroof that doesn’t close completely. As a result, water gradually dripped into the front section of the interior (mainly near the driver and passenger footwells). The rear of the car, including the battery in the boot, stayed completely dry. However, the car’s electrical system is now unresponsive, likely due to a short-circuit. No attempt has been made to jump-start or reconnect anything — I’ve left the car untouched until a professional can assess it. --- What I Need: Someone to assess the situation, safely reconnect or reset the battery, and jump-start the car if appropriate. Ideally, you’ll bring a portable jump starter and any basic diagnostic tools. If further steps are needed (e.g. drying connectors, identifying fuse/relay damage), please advise on-site. Important Notes: The car is not deeply flooded — the issue is localised water entry and short-circuiting in the front cabin area. Battery is confirmed dry and intact. I simply don’t have the time or tools to investigate further myself today.

I replaced the left side mirror on my 2006 Honda Jazz with an aftermarket unit, but the plug on the new mirror is different from the original one. The car has the original white 9-pin plug, and the new mirror has a grey 10-pin connector. I also have the female plug that connects to the white one on the car. I need help identifying the wiring and connecting the new mirror to the factory wiring – either by adapting the plugs or wiring it manually. The mirror may include basic electric adjustment and possibly folding or indicator functions. Photos of all connectors are attached.
