We have been doing the bookkeeping in-house but it has got a little bit too much for us and we’ve decided it is time to ‘outsource’. We estimate anywhere between 1-2 days per week. The duties would include allocations for debits and credits each weekday using SAP Business One, on a regular basis so we can keep on top of our weekly debtors follow-up. Not a lot of people have heard of SAP as it is a large European based software, used mainly by Australian Government departments. Saying that, once shown it is quite easy to use if no previous experience. With the allocations, remittances including payments with multiple invoices would need to be allocated such to Coles, Woolworths, Merivale, Solotel, ALM, eBev etc invoices on the system. At the end of each month they would need to do a manual reconciliation in SAP for 2 bank accounts. There would also be a little bit of payroll work on ‘Lightning Payroll’ as well as STP, Super contributions and assistance with preparation of EOFY reports to accountant and associated queries. It would be great if the work could be done from our and our Office Administrator could show you the ropes and once comfortable with the systems there is no reason it couldn’t be done remotely. Could you advise what the hourly/daily rate would be?
