Tools for wall mount installation
As with all our handyman services, wall hanging and mounting experts usually bring their own tools. This includes pencils, drills, measuring tape, and the right kinds of anchors or clamps for the item you’re hanging or mounting.
Choosing the right anchors or clamps
Picking the right anchors or clamps for your task can be quite tricky. After all, you want your TV securely mounted on the wall. And no one needs a picture gallery whose frames quiver at the slightest movement.
To start, your handyman looks at your task post and bring the supplies that best fit your needs, based on what you described. It helps to be as detailed as possible in the task post. If necessary, your handyman will take a trip to the store and purchase the appropriate items.
Hanging light objects: Dyson wall mounting and medal mounting
For added convenience, you can get your cordless Dyson vacuum mounted, as well as decorative items like your medal collection. Light objects include small picture frames, mirrors, towel bars, toilet paper holders, and Christmas lights. These items are usually hung using screws or plastic anchors.

Bike hanging and mounting medium-weight objects

If you want to hide the wires of your wall-mounted TV, you can ask your handyman to use a cable concealer kit, run the cables through the wall, or install special tubing. Take note that you may need to consult with an electrician beforehand.
Shelf hanging and other heavier items
Items such as large cabinets, shelves, and some TVs need more heavy-duty anchors. Wall anchors and toggles can handle around 22 kg and are typically used for this purpose. Since this kind of task involves heavier items, your handyman may bring along a partner to help them lift and mount the object safely. If your items need assembly before installation, you can book an assembler or tradesman to do it for you.

Need someone experienced to install 3 shelves onto a cavity/gyprock wall. Shelves slot into metal mounting brackets/rails (photos attached). Approx. 150cm long each. Wall is gyprock/plasterboard so would prefer someone confident locating studs and/or using appropriate anchors to ensure they are secure and level. Looking for a clean finish with no wobble/sagging.
