Our LG gas dryer (model DLGX7601WE) still powers on and spins (tumbles), but it no longer produces hot air, so it’s not drying clothes. For the past few weeks, it’s also been making a loud thumping noise while spinning — possibly an issue with the drum rollers or belt. The no-heat issue might be related to the gas ignition system (igniter, flame sensor, fuse, or thermostat), but we're not totally sure. We’re looking for someone experienced with gas dryer repairs to come inspect, diagnose, and fix it. We're happy to order and provide any parts you recommend. Located in the San Fernando Valley — flexible on timing this week! Can adjust budget depending on the repair needed etc
