The reverse doesn't work on the Kenmore. One Brother doesn't pull up the bobbin thread, so couldn't be further tested. The other Brother has the needle hitting metal.

I have a light blue floral dress with a slit on the thigh, but unfortunately it rides way too high! I'll post pictures if possible, but if someone who knows how to sew could sew the slit up a little bit so I can wear it without flashing everyone, that'd be wonderful 😅 Time is very flexible!
