Hi there! I have 2 projects, could be together or separate depending: 1. Installing shelves around a room. The thing is, my (rental) walls are tricky to work with. I’ve installed things on other walls in the apt, but I suspect these are plaster? When I’ve tried before with anchors, they just came right out. So I need someone to assess the walls and determine the right anchoring hardware/approach. 2. Installing curtains (as room divider) on a ceiling I suspect requires a masonry drill. Again, just need help assessing the right anchoring hardware/approach. I have the tracks already.

Due to a plumbing repair, A portion of my ceiling had to be removed. The affected area is about 6ft x 1 and 2ft x 1. I would like this closed off with drywall.
He was punctual and went right to work but the drywall repair was subpar. Big crack and gaps left behind. I have to finish the job myself. If the task required more time and materials, he could have made that assessment at the start and renegotiated.
