Reposting as I need 4 crew total— MUST ARRIVE at 2pm. Need x4 people to empty a 10x13 storage unit and load its contents onto a U-Haul. Tentatively, we’ll split into x2 two man teams. My partner and I will delegate/designate the flow of stuff and pack the 26’ U-Haul truck. No lift, just a ramp. Time is crucial and you need to arrive prompt and be ready to hit it hard AF. I’m recovering from serious injuries so am limited in what I can do physically other than coordinate, delegate, direct, etc. Please don’t let me try and do too much lifting/hard work. Step 1— unpack and stage the U-Haul contents near truck as it’s arriving partially loaded from another unit. That units stuff is less important and gets less priority in final pack. Step 2– move contents of a 10x13 tightly packed 2nd second floor unit into truck. Large freight lift elevator. No stairs. Majority of time will likely be securely organizing/packing the truck for 250 mile trip, so lots of Tetris to make stuff fit securely. Step 3– If theres not enough space on the 26’ truck and stuff overflows, we’ll have migrate any thing that doesn’t fit back up into the unit. With a crew of x4 I’d estimate 3-4hrs work. Ideally you’ll be able between 1pm-7pm in case things shift and or the pack takes longer. I’ll guarantee you 2hr minimum so $70 base pay. If you have a dolly, cart, collapsing wagon, major plus! Also if you’ve ever professionally packed trucks or were a mover even better. I have a dolly cart, x2 furniture dolly’s, and a wagon we can use, but unfortunately the storage facility doesn’t have anything. Bring gloves, back brace, whatever you need. I’ll supply cold water and drinks.
