Preparing the parts of your inversion table

Just like any other assembly job, setting up your inversion table starts with preparing the parts. Your Tasker will make sure that the parts are complete and undamaged. No one wants to be halfway through the assembly process only to find out that a washer is missing! Your Tasker will also review the inversion table assembly instructions before getting started. 

Assembling the body or frame

Most instruction manuals will ask the assembler to start with the body. This consists of front and rear frames. Once these are set up, the arms of the frame will be attached. Adjusting the settings

Inversion tables have three settings: weight, height, and ankle. When the body of your inversion table is set up, your Tasker will start adjusting the weight setting. It is clipped according to your weight/the weight of the user. The height setting is usually determined by the height of the user plus 1 inch. For a more accurate measurement, take off your shoes before clipping the height setting.

Next up is the ankle setting. When adjusting this component, make sure that you are comfortable. Remember, you’ll be on this table for extended periods! Feel free to ask your Tasker or consult the manual if you have any questions about any of the settings.

Adjusting the ankle lock

Some inversion tables have an additional setting called an ankle lock. If your table is one of these, your Tasker will ask you to adjust this setting as well. While adjusting the ankle lock, think about whether you plan to wear shoes or socks when using the inversion table. You must be secure yet comfortable when using the equipment. The purpose of the ankle lock is to support your ankles and keep you from falling off the table. Make sure that you are very comfortable and confident with this setting.

Inspecting the inversion table
