I have a TCL W8P95-B3 portable floor-standing air conditioner (8,150 BTU, R32 refrigerant). The main issue is a strong dirty-sock/musty smell when the AC is running. I already tried cleaning the accessible side of the evaporator coil with a dedicated AC coil-cleaning foam, but the odor is still there. The unit has been used relatively little, so I’m looking for someone who can disassemble it and identify and clean the internal source of the smell, including the coils, blower/fan, drain area, and internal air passages.
