I had a Hicense TV wall mounted the TV is about 3 yrs old. The Polk soundbar (5 yrs old) wont connect with the TV. Tried HDMI and Optical cable followed instructions but can't get it to connect. Install has been completed . Just need someone familiar with Polk soundbars.

Require a TV to be mounted above fireplace with soundbar below so all cables hidden. A sparky has been in to rough in power for TV and antenna already, but stated there were no studs behind the wall (drilled pilot holes) and discontinued the job. I checked and there is 110mm of cavity before it hits external brick. I would hope the bracket can be installed with long bolts into the brick but ideally someone with experience who can do this. Including TV and bracket is 25kg total weight. Also request a dimmer to be installed onto existing kitchen down lights, x2 GPOs to be installed in master bedroom, and relocate a switch in laundry. Hi, I am looking for an experienced carpenter or cabinet maker to help install a high-end feature TV wall in my living room (similar to the attached reference photo). Materials I am providing: Black Fluted Acoustic Panels: (3m lengths with felt backing). Large Format Porcelain Stone Slab: (To be mounted as the central feature). Floating TV Cabinet: (Handleless, push-to-open design). TV Wall Mount & Soundbar. The Job Includes: Prep & Layout: Measuring and marking the wall to ensure the stone slab and panels are perfectly centered. Panel Installation: Cutting and adhering the black fluted panels to the wall. Stone Slab Mounting: Securely installing the large porcelain slab as the center feature. Cabinet Mounting: Wall-mounting the floating cabinet into the wall studs for maximum weight support. TV & Cable Management: Mounting the TV bracket and ensuring all cables are concealed behind the panels/slab for a "cordless" finish. Requirements: Must have experience with large-format porcelain/stone and decorative panelling. Please bring your own tools (including specialized cutters for the stone/porcelain). References or photos of previous feature wall/cabinetry work are highly preferred.
