I have a 2016 Mazda3 2.5L Skyactiv (144,000 miles) that needs an experienced mechanic to diagnose an engine noise. Symptoms: Loud metallic knocking/ticking noise from the passenger/front side of the engine. Noise increases with RPM and is noticeable at idle. New metal-on-metal squeaking noise immediately after startup. Engine shook/vibrated at idle on one occasion. Check engine light with knock sensor code (P0327/P0328). What I need: Diagnose the source of the noise before replacing any parts. Determine whether it's coming from the accessory drive (belt, tensioner, idler, alternator, A/C compressor, water pump) or inside the engine (timing chain, VVT, valvetrain, etc.).

I need help repairing the interior door handle mount on my 1990 Ford Bronco. The door handle/latch itself works fine and does not need to be replaced. The issue is the thin metal area behind the handle is bent/damaged outward, so the handle does not sit solid or mount tightly. I need someone who can repair the mounting area by either welding it back flat, adding a small backing plate, or fabricating a simple sheet-metal reinforcement so the handle can bolt in securely before I reinstall the door panel. Must have your own tools, drill, hardware, rivnuts/bolts, welder if needed, and experience with automotive metal/door repairs. I can provide photos of the exact circled area. Simple repair, just need it done clean and solid.

I'm looking for a skilled local mobile tech, bodywork hobbyist, or semi-professional who can help me fix some recent tailgate damage on my white Ram truck. As you can see in the photo, there is a moderate dent on the lower passenger side of the tailgate, right next to the taillight, which also includes a small puncture/hole in the metal. What I'm looking for: Dent Pulling: Popping or smoothing out the main dent as much as possible so the metal sits flush again. Hole Patching: Sealing/patching the puncture hole to prevent rust and weather damage, finished with a basic coat of white touch-up paint. I’m not looking for a flawless, expensive, showroom-quality factory restoration—just a solid, semi-professional repair that cleans up the appearance and seals the metal properly.
