Need a licensed electrician to diagnose and restore power to a Mitsubishi Electric wall-mounted split system (model MSZ-GE35VA2) in the master bedroom. The indoor unit stopped turning on completely (no lights, no response to remote) after previous electrical work was done at the property a few months ago. At that time an electrician connected a new hot water system and mentioned the meter/switchboard load would need an upgrade. After that job, the bedroom heater/aircon unit no longer works. What I need from you: • Inspect the switchboard/meter and confirm whether the bedroom split system circuit was disconnected, repurposed, or isolated. • Check the outdoor A/C isolator and confirm if the unit is actually getting power. • Restore power to the split system safely if it’s just a simple reconnection. • If it’s more than a quick reconnection (e.g. needs a new dedicated circuit run from the board), give me a written quote for that work and, if required, a quote for any board/meter upgrade. Important notes: • Property has existing solar, electric hot water, and existing split system in the master bedroom). • The A/C unit itself was working before this electrical work. We believe it’s just not getting power now. • I only want licensed electricians • I’ll be on-site to give access to the switchboard and the bedroom unit. Hi, I’m looking for a licensed air-conditioning technician to relocate my Samsung ducted outdoor unit from the side yard to the backyard (approx. 5 metres from its current position). Photos attached of current and proposed locations. Unit details: Model: Samsung AC120TXAPKG/SA (12.0 kW, R32, Ducted Outdoor, Single Phase) Dimensions: 940 mm (W) × 1,210 mm (H) × 330 mm (D) Weight: ~95 kg --- Scope of Work Disconnect & safely move the existing outdoor unit (~5 m run). Extend refrigerant piping, electrical cabling, and communication wiring as required. Top up refrigerant charge in line with Samsung specifications (R32). Re-route condensate drain with proper fall/slope. Install new concrete base (or a suitable mounting pad/frame) at the backyard location, ensuring the unit is level, stable, and has adequate vibration isolation. Ensure minimum clearances for airflow and servicing are met. Recommission system: vacuum, leak test, recharge if needed, and confirm operation. --- Requirements Must be a licensed HVAC / refrigeration technician authorised to handle R32 refrigerant. Provide own tools, gauges, vacuum pump, nitrogen, and refrigerant if top-up is required. Remove any waste/debris created during relocation. Provide a brief compliance certificate or receipt stating work completed to Australian standards. --- Notes Current location: side yard, narrow clearance beside fence. New location: backyard. Issue: My Kelvinator split-system air conditioner isn’t blowing cold air. On Sunday (Oct 11) it worked fine, but on Monday the air wasn’t cold and airflow was weak.
