Looking for a painter/decorator or general handyman to quote on internal works for a house I’ve purchased. Ideally looking for someone available between Fri 16th - Mon 19th Jan to inspect and discuss, with works taking place between Jan - mid Feb. This is not a high-end renovation — the aim is to refresh and fix up, so looking someone who can work within a budget. Building inspection booked next Friday — scope to be confirmed after that. Plumber and electrician already organised. Work likely includes: • Painting walls + ceiling • Prep & patching • Some decorative panelling • General finishing - Paint + any wall panelling will be paid for by me. - The house will be uninhabited during renovation, no furniture - Bedrooms & Lounge have wooden floors which should be covered, and they’ll will be sanded & polished after painting - Bathroom, Kitchen & dining area will have flooring added after painting - Single storey home, see floor plan for room sizes - Every room, ceiling + door needs painted, but I might get a professional to focus on key areas while I do others to keep within budget - scope to be finalised basically 👍 Please let me know if you’ve any questions? I have a two‑piece corner cupboard door with a hinged connector between the panels. The connector hinge is now working, but the main door still won’t sit straight when closing. A new hinge was purchased and we attempted installation, but it did not solve the issue. I need someone experienced with kitchen cabinetry to diagnose the problem and adjust or re‑mount the hinges so the door closes properly.
