I need an existing screen door taken down and a new screen door installed (back entry of house). I can supply the screen door and hinges. The door stop will also need replacement and adjustment as the existing door in its current state does not seamlessly close and there are gaps where insects find their way in. I will need the tradesman to supply the door stop. There are also parts of the door jamb that would need filling in as there are holes where previous locks were. The door is a standard size door. I don’t need any painting as part of this job.

As per new legislation, I need to make my external doors compliant. Privacy door is working fine. External entry doors (other than screen doors) must have functional deadlocks or locks that people can unlock with a key from the outside. These must be able to open without a key from the inside. Attached are the photos of old doors. Tasks: 1. ENTRANCE DOOR : Replace with new door and install a basic new lock that meets the requirement stated above 2. LAUNDRY DOOR: Replace only the lock with new lock that meets the requirement stated above I have also attached photo of the basic external door available in bunnings. I can buy materials from bunnings or from you based on recommendations but need to very basic/affordable options as this are for a rental property. Please quote only for the labor. Cheers Shakeb

I need a handyperson with a professional orbital sander to sand back my front entry ramp (approx. 5m x 1m). The Job: Sanding Only: The ramp is weathered merbau and needs to be sanded back to raw timber to remove the grey silvering. Preparation Done: I have already gone over the ramp and recessed all the square-drive screws, so there is no risk of hitting hardware. I will also handle the cleaning and staining myself after you finish. Equipment: You must provide your own sander and sandpaper (recommended 40/60 grit followed by 80 grit). Requirements: Must have your own professional sanding equipment and dust extraction/collection. Location: Hughesdale. Looking to have this done as soon as possible.
