Hello, We are looking for a licensed NSW Electrician to attend our retail store, in Narellan Town Centre, to diagnose and repair a flickering ceiling light. The Issue: A recessed LED downlight in our main optometry room is persistently flickering. The Job: The task is to find the cause of the flickering and perform the necessary repair to ensure stable, constant light. The scope of work includes: 1. Safely accessing the light fitting in the ceiling (a suitable ladder is required). 2. Diagnosing the cause of the flickering (e.g., faulty LED unit, failing driver, loose connection, or a dimmer issue). 3. Supplying and installing a new, like-for-like replacement downlight and/or driver if the existing one is found to be faulty. 4. Testing the light thoroughly to confirm the flickering is resolved. Requirements: - MUST be a fully licensed and insured NSW Electrician. - You must be able to provide your license number. - You must have your own tools, including a suitable A-frame ladder for a standard commercial ceiling. - The contractor must be able to supply a standard replacement LED downlight and driver if required. Location & Timing: Location: Narellan Town Centre, 326 Camden Valley Way, Narellan NSW 2567. When: The job can be completed at your earliest convenience. Please state your availability in your offer. The house is in need of rotten weatherboard repairs prior to us painting the exterior in a couple of months, particularly on these two corners where the weatherproofing was very poor. The boards just butt up against a piece of timber trim without scribers. More photos available on request, there are a few more boards on the left side of the house also I have already had size and profile-matched timber boards delivered to the site plus galvanised nails. The trim piece on the left corner is also rotten and I have a matching trim piece ready for installation. There are two boards that would need to be accessed by ladder on the left and be cut out to fit the top of the window I'd appreciate caulking to be applied to these corners to slow down the rot for when this happens again! Let me know if you have also the skills to 1. Replace a piece of weatherboard trim on the left-sided window or 2. Add a more durable weatherproofing solution such as box corners with scribers I'd certainly consider it for a higher fee Thanks

We require installation of a Foxydry Mini ceiling-mounted drying rack on the underside ceiling of our apartment balcony. The unit is already purchased and will be on hand, along with the instruction manual. Please note the following: - The balcony ceiling is likely concrete - You will need to supply appropriate metal M5 concrete ceiling anchors as the plastic anchors supplied with the unit, are not sufficient - You will also need to supply all tools and equipment necessary for installation, including hammer drill and ladder - The space is relatively compact, and the ceiling is quite high (refer to photos and dimensions) - Installation must be level and secure, as the rack holds up to 10 kg of laundry - Intend to have it installed in line with sliding door (outside) so person has more space when hanging out clothes - The rack uses a pulley/chain system and needs to hang correctly for it to function properly Please only accept this task if you are experienced in drilling into a concrete ceiling and have your own equipment. Happy to answer any questions before you quote.
