am looking for a reliable and experienced A/V Specialist to assist with a Celebration of Life tribute. This is a two-part assignment, so please read the entire post before submitting an offer. Phase 1 – Venue Test Run (Approximately 1 Hour) Prior to the event, I would like to meet you at the venue to perform a complete test run. I am not familiar with connecting A/V equipment, so I need someone who can connect my laptop to the venue’s projector/screen (HDMI or other required connection), test the tribute video, verify picture and sound quality, and make sure everything is working properly before the event. I would also appreciate you explaining the setup process so I understand how everything connects. Phase 2 – Event Day (Approximately 1 Hour) On the day of the Celebration of Life, I would like you to arrive before guests to reconnect the equipment, verify that the video and audio are working properly, and remain available during the tribute video in case any technical issues arise. After the presentation, assistance disconnecting the equipment would also be appreciated. The tribute video will already be completed. My primary goal is to ensure a smooth, stress-free presentation on the day of the event. This project is approximately two hours total, split between two separate visits to the venue. Reliability, punctuality, and communication are extremely important to me. If an unexpected emergency prevents you from keeping an appointment, I simply ask that you communicate as soon as possible. If you have experience with projectors, HDMI connections, laptops, sound systems, or A/V support for weddings, memorials, corporate events, or similar occasions, I would love to hear from you.
