Removing the norfolk island pine tree in backyard. All work on trees is to be undertaken by a minimum AQF Level 3 Arborist in accordance with Australian Standard (AS 4373-2007) for Pruning of Amenity Trees and Safe Work Australia’s Guide to Managing Risks of Tree Trimming and Removal Works. Pine Wood can be taken by tree cutter for use.

The job involves complete removal of a tree, including stump grinding to a depth of at least 50 cm. The contractor is expected to bring all necessary equipment and machinery required for the task. Additionally, all waste generated during the process — including branches, sawdust, wood chips, and other debris from tree cutting and grinding — must be collected and removed from the site.

I am requesting proposals/quotations from suitably qualified project arborists (AQF Level 5 or above) to provide supervision and certification for my site in Baulkham Hills. Arborist supervision and certification are stipulated in Conditions 7, 28 and 40 of the Development Consent. The following information will facilitate the preparation of proposals/quotations: 1) The required supervision and certification is limited to the Tree Protection Zone (TPZ) and/or the Structural Root Zone (SRZ) of one tree being retained. 2) Condition 7 - Before any work begins on the site, if any construction access or works is required within the TPZ, ground protection measures will be required and certification of supervision of implementation will be provided by the Project Arborist. Condition 7 will apply to my site due to temporary access for machinery and vehicles within the TPZ. However, according to clauses 3.3.1 and 3.3.2 in AS4970, it may be possible to encroach (including excavation, compacted fill and machine trenching) into or make variations to the standard TPZ. Awaiting my builder’s advice whether building materials will be temporarily stored within the TPZ. 3) Condition 28 will apply to my site due to the water main being located within the right side of the TPZ. Awaiting my builder’s advice about the location of stormwater. 4) Condition 40 will apply to my site due to the water main being located within the right side of the TPZ. Awaiting my builder’s advice about the location of stormwater. 3) An Arboricultural Impact Assessment report was prepared by an arborist dated 14 November 2024. A Tree Protection Plan is included in this report. 4) Stamped Site Plan The develioment consent, arborist report and stamped site plan will be provided upon request.
