We are seeking a qualified AQF Level 5 Arborist to assist with compliance reporting and supervision for a knockdown-rebuild project at Mortdale NSW(Georges River Council) The project involves the protection of a neighbouring Eucalyptus sp. (Gum Tree), and requires tree protection works and documentation in accordance with AS4970–2009 and Georges River Council’s DA Conditions Scope of Work: 1. Initial Tree Protection Plan (TPP) Sign-Off ($1000) Review and endorse the draft TPP (already prepared) for Construction Certificate Ensure all DA requirements are met: TPZ/SRZ, RLs, fencing specs, footing method, etc. 2. Hanging branch in tree and debris around to be cleaned and removed

I have North Sydney Council approvals to prune an Angophora tree overhanging our property. The approval requires the contractor to be an Arborist with a AQF Level 3 (or above) in Arboriculture and is to carry out all approved works in compliance with Australian Standard 4373-2007 “Pruning of Amenity Trees”. I also have approvals for other pruning which can be done on the same day as well. We don't need removal of the branches/green waste as we will dispose of them in the chipper and mulcher. Happy to pay 2 qualified contractors a full days work to carry out these works, and we have more work to follow if the first job is done properly.

My neighbours tree is causing unmanageable and uncontrollable leaf litter surrounding property including gutters. During storms causes big branches falling onto property and leaf litter blocking gutters and down pipes. Worried for safety and damage to property. Roots are pushing brick pavers and concrete retaining wall upwards on my side of fence. Contacted council numerous times but they don’t want to get involved. This tree is (at least) 3 stories high or higher and a mature Eucalyptus. Will be very expensive to get branches cut on my side. Neighbour has not actioned my request to have tree removed.
