Job Title: Bartender / Bar Attendant – Sports Club Pay - $40/hr Shift - 6pm-10pm (addition hours dependant on crowds) Position Summary: The Bartender / Bar Attendant is responsible for providing efficient, friendly, and responsible beverage service to members, guests, players, and spectators at the sports club. The role contributes to creating a welcoming and enjoyable game-day atmosphere while ensuring compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements and club policies. Key Responsibilities: • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a professional and timely manner • Operate the bar till and process cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the bar area, cool rooms, and surrounding service areas • Restock beverages, ice, cups, and bar supplies as required • Monitor patron behaviour and ensure responsible consumption of alcohol • Check identification where required and refuse service in accordance with RSA laws • Assist with opening and closing procedures for the bar and clubhouse facilities • Provide friendly customer service to club members, visiting teams, officials, and spectators • Work collaboratively with other volunteers, staff, and club management during busy match days and events • Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times Essential Requirements: • Current RSA Competency Card • Strong communication and customer service skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced sporting environment • Reliable, punctual, and well-presented • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and match days Desirable: • Previous hospitality or bar experience • Knowledge of sporting club operations and community environments • Experience using POS/till systems
