I have always wanted to learn how to sow but never got around to it. I have a basic sowing machine that I have used once or twice. Would like to learn how to make tops and skirts, just clothes in general. Happy to pay $25 an hour (if I wasn’t a student and so broke I would offer more)

I'm looking for an experienced seamstress or tailor to reinforce the seat of a two pairs of dress trousers. The fabric is quite thin, and I'd like an additional layer of lightweight, durable fabric sewn inside the seat area to help prevent wear and extend the life of the trousers. I'd like the reinforcement to be as discreet as possible, with no visible stitching or change to the outside appearance. I'm looking for someone with experience altering quality garments and who can recommend a suitable reinforcement fabric if needed. Please let me know: Your experience with similar work.
