I am looking for a qualified and experienced seamstress to help with medium to large scale event projects such as tablecloth sewing and overlocking of drapery panels made from satin, jersey and chiffons. The initial project will consist of sewing 38 drapery panels from stretch jersey that are 800cm x 300cm finished size. I will provide all fabrics. You will need experience, sewing machine and overlocker, space to deal with the large qty of fabrics, cutting table etc. Can be done from your own studio or home. Ideally you are local to Camberwell and can support quick-medium turnaround times.

Seeking a Sewer / Seamstress to alter a dress I’d like to wear for a wedding in January. I had it measured at a tailor and they suggested 6cm total width add in 3 cm either side of the zip in a v shape ( see image). Unsure of how far down it needs to be altered to however, see image for rough alteration. Will need to be re-measured. The Tailor suggested the zip be unpicked and resewn in with two v shape panels either side in order for the dress to fit. I’ll provide the fabric.

I need to make mattress covers for my campervan - 4 in total, 2 thin ones and 2 slightly larger. Sketch plan is attached and the measures are the following: - 2 cover 186cm long and 60cm wide; - 2 covers 186cm long and 16cm wide. All should fit the depth of a foam mattress 10cm thick.
