I need someone to move a few things around inside my house. It is not particularly difficult or heavy. This will be easy work for someone who does this stuff all the time. Theres a couple of bed bases, an IKEA desk, one mattress that needs to change rooms, couple of boxes need putting up on a shelf. Figured I would get someone who makes quick & light work out of this sort of stuff. My friend (my guest) arrives Friday 2/1/26 which is why i want this done today since Thursday is a public holiday. It’s not hard work, it’s probably not even that heavy for other people but it’s heavy enough that I am asking for help. Here is specifically what I need someone to do for me, I’m trying to make what I need as clear as possible 1. Move stuff out of the front room that i was gonna use as an office. It’s a couple of chairs and a desk. it’s only a lightweight desk but since I built it in the room it will probably need partial disassembly to get it out of the room. 2. Put a couple of boxes up the shelf in the cupboard in this room. 3. Move the base of a queen bed out of one bedroom and in to another. Probably just need to unscrew the legs on the base but otherwise this will just slide on the floorboards. Easy. Screw the legs back on once it’s in the room 4. Move a queen sized mattress in to the same room and put it on that base 5. Move a queen size wooden bed base from one room to another. It will have to be at least partially disassembled then Reassembled in the next room. Put my queen mattress on the wooden base once it’s reassembled in the next room Put the desk, chair and floor mat from the office in to the middle room. That’s it —- You can use my tools or your own . It’s only Allen key and Philips head screw driver kind of tools. I reckon it will only take an hour max - all that laundry & clutter stuff off the bed, desk and floor will be moved before the tasker arrives. Want someone who can do this sort of stuff without damaging walls etc.
