My mother is moving house soon. She is elderly and while she can still do a lot, needs our help to get this big job done. Are you a Ballina/ Alstonville/ Lismore active local who is experienced in packing up? We’d love to hear from you. We are looking for one or two local Northern Rivers active people with lots of common sense, experience (and a reference if at all possible from any previous work, owner have to be packing). The home: Non flood, non smoking, clean home, garage and possibly some garden. You will need tour own car/transport to drive to the home job site in Dalwood, just south of Alstonville. Dates: We are currently formulating. We know it is within the next three weeks. Rate: $25 per hour per person. We envisage at least one day’s work, of 6-8 hours. Very very likely two days. There may easily be a third day if need. This will need to be decided according to need. You will need to be; . Physically active, fit & strong enough to complete this task. . Experienced in personally packing up a home. . Have lots of common sense. . Bring a smile, your sneakers and your can-do friendly attitude. . Pack personal items efficiently & with care into appropriate removal boxes. . Conduct yourself professionally, follow directions with a smile and a joke as we all work together. Looking for 2 people to unload a taxi box and get everything up an elevator. About 2 hours $120 per person. $60 per hour overtime. Any balance paid on completion. I don’t need the truck. Just help unloading. The taxi box arrives at 7am and has to be unloaded in 30 minutes. Then everything has to get moved upstairs. 7am arrival is critical.
