I’ve just moved house and have a solid timber sideboard downstairs that needs to be carried up my staircase. It’s heavy and awkward, and the staircase has a turn near the top — so this needs people who know what they’re doing. This is at least a two-person job (possibly three), ideally with lifting straps or other moving equipment to protect the furniture and the walls/banister. I can remove drawers/doors beforehand to reduce weight.
