A common wall in my apartment had some water damage. It's a 100 year old building. The affected wall is cement and had been wallpapered and then painted over. I stripped all the paper off (as it was becoming mouldy and the wall has now dried out. I need a painter to remediate the wall which runs from my living room into my kitchen. As the body corporate will be paying for this, I can't engage a painter through Airtasker - I need to present the body corporate with a proper quote. I'd like this done in the next few weeks. I don't know whether the painter will be able to paint just the affected wall (and somehow match the colour?), or if both the living room and kitchen will need to be completely repainted. Certainly, the skirting board along the bottom of the affected wall needs to be sanded and painted, as does the picture rail.
