Needing someone to finish up replacing my my current head unit, running the microphone under the trim. Got the old one out and was ready to solder the new connections but couldn't match up the wires and didn't want to screw it up. Need to ensure the steering wheel controls work and it seems they have wires for this but again, unsure what to do.

Hi, I need someone to help troubleshoot a head unit install on a VW Golf MK6, specifically for the 2 issues listed below. Note that I have already installed the head unit (this one https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/384403754354) and ran the camera cable from the head unit to the boot, GPS navigation works, integrated w/CANBUS and steering wheel controls work etc. The 2 issues I need resolved are: 1 Reverse Camera – when I had it hooked up, and ran power to the reverse headlight and it worked (test hook-up connected) when reverse engaged, however the it has an image which has lines across it and looks warped (recall someone referring to it as “cyclowarp”). I have read that it may need a regulator / power relay capacitor or something along those lines. Note I have not mounted the camera to the bumper yet – and want it mounted above the licence plated between the 2 licence plate lights. 2 AM radio – the VW factory antennae harness has 2 fakra cables, and I had read a 2-to-1 adapter was needed to get AM so I purchased this unit https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/255301302096, installed it but it doesn’t seem to have fixed it. There is also a blue cable coming out of the wiring harness, which I’ve also read may enable AM if connected, but I’m not sure how to do so / if another adapter is needed. I bought and installed the head unit and reverse camera as a gift for my mother in law, and she comes to our house on Tuesdays so that’d be the best day to do it. We live in Caulfield North. Looking for someone to fix the above issues.
