Add a low profile single cylinder deadbolt to an interior office door above an existing door handle. No tools provided. We have purchased deadlock hardware from bunnings. Key work steps are to: 1. Drill 54mm diameter hole through door 2. Drill intersection centred 25mm diameter channel in edge of door to center of 54mm hole 3. Drill deadbolt receptacle in door frame for deadbolt insertion 4. install strikepad and deadlock. precision work required to align hole, channel and strike pad receptacle.

The internal spring for the lock mechanism seems to be loose/worn down. The outside handle is loose and we can only lock the door by pulling it up into its original position. We cannot lock the door from the inside. (I removed face plate to get a better look. It has been put back in place now)

Door lock in an apartment building on collins street - Melb cbd needs fixed. (without breaking the bank) Locks/ unlocks fine. Lever also works perfectly. It’s just coming out a little from the inside - (while fixing it, a small nail was snapped stuck inside - which fits the lock to the door) so it was working like this forever. Need it fixed before i leave for a holiday
