It’s a rental property, so the solution must cause minimal or no permanent damage and be easy to remove or restore later. I’m open to different options, including replacing the current door handle with one that has a key lock, and then changing it back to the original handle when I move out. Any other suggestions are welcome. I would prefer someone who can bring the materials/lock/handle, and I will reimburse the cost. What’s required: Remove the old Samsung smart lock (both the exterior and interior parts). A circular hole will remain — I already have bog/putty to fill it. Patch the hole using the putty, sand it smooth, and prepare the surface so it’s flush with the door.
