I have my car, a 2015 mitsubishi ASX, and the key has been acting up. It starts the car normally but distance locking/unlocking is on and off. After I try to re-sync the key it works but as soon as I put it back into the ignition, the fob refuses to work again. I’m guessing I need a new key and the programming needed along. I’m happy to use the same key blade as the one I have right now; it’s an after market anyway. Alternatively, if you could repair the one I already have, I’m all good with that…whatever option is the cheapest. Let me know approximately how much that would cost me…money is a bit tight at the moment.

The lever handle lock on an internal door has stopped working. It's a privacy-style lock (the round thumbturn above the handle has a red/green indicator). The thumbturn now spins freely in place and no longer engages the latch, so the door can't be locked or unlocked properly. The latch bolt itself and strike plate on the door frame look intact, so this is most likely a worn or broken internal cam/spindle mechanism in the lockset rather than a frame issue. What I need: Diagnose the fault (likely a stripped spindle or broken internal cam in the privacy lock) Repair if possible, or supply and install a replacement lever handle privacy lockset to match the existing hole pattern and finish (brushed stainless/satin nickel lever with round rose) Test that the latch engages properly and the lock/unlock indicator functions correctly

The door lock requires repair as it has been getting stuck when opening.

Our door lock is faulty in two parts. From the inside of the apartment, it's possible rotate the locking switch too far, and then you can't open the door from inside. Also, the door handle inside the apartment is a bit wobbly, as indicated by the close-up photos. Happy to discuss pricing based on what needs doing. Licenced locksmith only, proof is required.

Need a handyman to come and fix a sliding door lock so that it sits flush, and install a cupboard latch.

We have a troublesome door to an upstairs balcony that needs repair. The lock and now spindle are not turning at all. We tried removing the handle and still can’t turn the handle. Need a locksmith, carpenter or handyman to help me firstly open but ideally also diagnose and fix the door issues because this has happened a few times already before. See attached photos for the mechanism. to access the outside, if we can’t get the door open, you will need a ladder to get onto the balcony. It’s probably about 2.5 off the ground to the balcony, fairly straightforward to access with a ladder but we don’t have one here unfortunately. So please bring a ladder just in case. If it needs new hardware please let me know. I think it’s probably an alignment issue. We are selling the house, ideally today but any time before Wednesday is fine - Wednesday is the next inspection.

I had a smart lock on here that was working fine for months today I went to turn it and it didn't unlock very well... The doors fault bot the smart lock. I noticed that maybe something's come loose or there's something a little crunchy when I open the door and it's not properly opening and closing to the door. For now I've removed my smart lock which is seen in the picture, but still the door handle not opening and releasing the latch remains.... Happy to have a look to see if we can fix it or happy to replace it the handle that is the Smart Lock works fine. Need this today as right now I can't properly close the office so this is pretty urgent.
