I have my car, a 2015 mitsubishi ASX, and the key has been acting up. It starts the car normally but distance locking/unlocking is on and off. After I try to re-sync the key it works but as soon as I put it back into the ignition, the fob refuses to work again. I’m guessing I need a new key and the programming needed along. I’m happy to use the same key blade as the one I have right now; it’s an after market anyway. Alternatively, if you could repair the one I already have, I’m all good with that…whatever option is the cheapest. Let me know approximately how much that would cost me…money is a bit tight at the moment.

The door appears to have dropped or shifted slightly, and the lock bolt is not fully engaging into the strike plate/keeper on the frame. From the photos, it looks like the bolt is only catching on the edge of the receiving plate rather than seating properly inside it. The lock can be turned from outside and appears locked, but if the door is pushed with some force, it can still open. This seems to be a door alignment / strike plate / hinge sag issue rather than just a key or cylinder issue. please quote for inspecting and fixing this? It may require hinge adjustment, strike plate/keeper realignment, or lock/bolt adjustment.

I have a door lock where the handle and latch mechanism aren’t working properly. The latch seems misaligned or isn’t retracting/engaging correctly, and the lock slider/button may be loose or jammed internally. The handle may also be sagging slightly. We need help fixing two door/lock issues at home. One door does not stay closed properly. It does not need to be key-locked, but currently the latch does not catch properly and the door can open by itself. Another door has a key broken inside the lock. We need the broken key removed and the lock checked/repaired if needed. Looking for someone with locksmith or door/lock repair experience. We have a troublesome door to an upstairs balcony that needs repair. The lock and now spindle are not turning at all. We tried removing the handle and still can’t turn the handle. Need a locksmith, carpenter or handyman to help me firstly open but ideally also diagnose and fix the door issues because this has happened a few times already before. See attached photos for the mechanism. to access the outside, if we can’t get the door open, you will need a ladder to get onto the balcony. It’s probably about 2.5 off the ground to the balcony, fairly straightforward to access with a ladder but we don’t have one here unfortunately. So please bring a ladder just in case. If it needs new hardware please let me know. I think it’s probably an alignment issue. We are selling the house, ideally today but any time before Wednesday is fine - Wednesday is the next inspection.

2 door locks are loose and 1 is stuck

I need the lock for my back security door fixed. The bolt trigger isn’t retracting enough to signal release the bolt to slide in. I’d also like a sensor deadbolt/code security lock to replace the existing mechanism on my side gate. Just the ones you can buy from Bunnings. Price excludes materials.

Door lock in an apartment building on collins street - Melb cbd needs fixed. (without breaking the bank) Locks/ unlocks fine. Lever also works perfectly. It’s just coming out a little from the inside - (while fixing it, a small nail was snapped stuck inside - which fits the lock to the door) so it was working like this forever. Need it fixed before i leave for a holiday

I had a smart lock on here that was working fine for months today I went to turn it and it didn't unlock very well... The doors fault bot the smart lock. I noticed that maybe something's come loose or there's something a little crunchy when I open the door and it's not properly opening and closing to the door. For now I've removed my smart lock which is seen in the picture, but still the door handle not opening and releasing the latch remains.... Happy to have a look to see if we can fix it or happy to replace it the handle that is the Smart Lock works fine. Need this today as right now I can't properly close the office so this is pretty urgent.
