I’m looking for someone to organise and clean one bedroom and its attached ensuite before a routine inspection. I moved in fairly recently, after the property had a bond clean, so it isn’t particularly dirty, however there is a lot of clothes on piles on my floor. Hence, The main job is sorting and putting away items that are currently scattered around the room, including on the floor. I’d also like the bedroom dusted and vacuumed, the windows and accessible window tracks cleaned, and the ensuite cleaned, including the toilet, sink, mirror, shower and floor. This is just the bedroom and small ensuite, not the whole property. We have plenty of cleaning products available, though you’re welcome to bring your own equipment and products if you prefer. After someone with a genuinely organised mind who doesn't mind physical work. If you walk into a messy cupboard and can already see how it should be, this is your kind of job. Tomorrow is a fixed block, 1pm to 5pm, for the price agreed. We stop at 5 whether we're through it or not, and we won't be, which is fine. Getting it all finished isn't the goal, so I'm not looking to extend on the day. If it goes well there's more. I'm moving up the road on the weekend and I'll want help setting the new place up properly. Unpacking, storage, systems that actually last. That's the part I care most about and I'd rather find one person and keep working with them. That would be a separate job at a price we agree then, not something sorted out on the spot. We'd start on the garage. Boxes that were packed and never labelled, plus tools and camping gear. A lot isn't coming with me. The pantry is a walk-in under the stairs and overfull, so it wants pulling down rather than tidying. Get into it for an hour or so, put anything you're unsure about aside, then grab me for five minutes to clear the questions in one go. What makes someone good at this: seeing the fix, not just the mess. Thinking about how a space actually gets used and setting it up so it stays that way. If twenty dollars of containers solves something permanently, say so. Boxes, tape and markers here. Bring gloves and decent shoes. Small friendly dog on site. Post-move home organization

House-Helper Required, ongoing position. I require someone every second week to assist with typical household duties. It will be pretty much the same routine each fortnight but can be refined as we go as we figure out how much time is required. The job is to help prep and maintain the home for the week I have my 2 kids. Looking after the kids is not required. Initially: do some planning with me on what kitchen storage items are needed for the plan of dinners, breakfast, snacks, lunchboxes etc. Basic outline below, but I'll put together a detailed checklist, so each day is consistent and easy to follow. Friday: any time between 9am ideally but later up to 2pm is ok. I estimate 2-3 hours. - Do a grocery shop for the week ahead. (list provided) - Stock the fridge and pantry. Prep some foods for next 3 days. - Light cleaning and tidy of the kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms. - Put on laundry if required Monday: 9am, I estimate 2 hours - Straighten house, light clean and tidy - Laundry as required - Prep foods for next 4 days Thursday: 9am same as Monday. I am open to trying different combinations of days depending on what works best and to find a schedule that works for us both.
