I have a 97-year-old Dad and an almost 92-year-old Mum. Dad is a little frail, is visibly impaired from macular degeneration but is sharp as a tack. Mum, unfortunately, suffers from dementia. They live at home and we have carers 24/7. At the moment, we need to replace the services of one helper and I wonder if for this specific job you could point me in the right direction. We are looking for someone to cook an evening meal, 3 times a week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) either at their apartment or at this person’s home and brought in and served to them. Dad has a really good appetite. His meals are the highlight of his day. He enjoys (as does Mum) plain but wholesome and tasty meals. They enjoy a meal that starts with soup, is followed by a main course with vegetables and a dessert. Can you point me in the right direction, please? One cupboard is filled with magazines/documents/boxes of papers, the other cupboard is filled with boxes of materials. Also moving 2 heavy shelving units up a large flight of stairs.
