I’m looking for an exceptional private housekeeper and household assistant to take ongoing care of my one-bedroom home in Toowong. I’m a business owner and work seven days a week. Home is where I switch off, so it’s important to me that it always feels calm, beautifully organised and exceptionally well maintained. I’m naturally very clean and tidy, so this isn’t a home that needs to be brought back into order each week. I’m looking for someone who appreciates the finer details and can help maintain it consistently at a five-star hotel, magazine-ready standard. My previous housekeeper was with me for three years, and I’m hoping to find someone with whom I can build a similarly trusted, long-term relationship. I’d also be very happy to put the successful person in touch with her so she can explain how the home has traditionally been managed and make the transition easy. The role would include detailed cleaning and presentation, fresh linen and bed making, laundry, folding, ironing and steaming, putting clothing away, wardrobe and household organisation, maintaining the kitchen, bathroom and living areas, fridge and pantry organisation, grocery shopping, monitoring and replenishing household essentials, purchasing cleaning supplies, occasional errands, and rotating deeper cleaning and detailing as required. A dedicated card will be provided for approved household expenses, including groceries, cleaning products and other agreed purchases, allowing you to manage these things independently without needing to be reimbursed. Because I work long hours, I really value someone who can notice what needs attention and simply take care of it without everything needing to become a task or instruction. I’m looking for a strong and reliable person to help move and stack boxes and other belongings in my 25 sqm multipurpose room. This is mainly a physical labour job, not a professional organising job. The room contains cardboard boxes, plastic storage boxes, bags, suitcases and some furniture. I need these moved from different parts of the room and stacked together along one side, using the vertical space as much as safely possible. The main purpose is simply to free up floor space so I can bring in more furniture and belongings. The stacking does not need to look perfect or professionally organised.
