We are looking for a domestic helper to support us with housekeeping. Our home: a small Queenslander with 2 bedrooms, 1 office, and 2 bathrooms. We maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our home. However, with everything happening lately, we have been struggling to keep up with the housekeeping. From May to August During this period, we need support with two main areas: 1. Regular cleaning - Wiping main surfaces in the bedrooms, office, and bathrooms. - Vacuuming and mopping. - Cleaning bathroom sinks and bathtubs. 2. Preparation for moving (Note: not the actual move itself, just getting organised beforehand.) - Removing unwanted items — we have accumulated a lot over the years and have not had time to sort through them. - Packing items that are not needed for daily use. - Keeping everyday items tidy and organised. From August onwards 1. Laundry, and ironing when needed. 2. Organising linens and clothing. 3. Regular cleaning, as outlined above. 4. if above tasks work well, we may also discuss some kitchen support — not cooking, but tasks such as washing and cutting vegetables. For the right person, this will be a long-term role. Our expectations We are looking for personalised support rather than a standard commercial cleaning service. And we only want to engage one person for this service. We would like someone who is reliable, trustworthy, organised, detail-oriented, and willing to work with us according to our specific needs.
