I’m looking for some help to get re-organised with clothes, bed linen etc. I have storage but I don’t think I’m using it well. The clean laundry piles up currently about 5 baskets! and becomes a chore then baskets just get moved from one place to another without ever getting sorted. My apologies for not getting back to anyone who did, it was not intentional, I haven't used Airtasker before. I'm looking for someone to be my airbnb cleaner (inc. laundry) & point person. Have been paying $25/hr. I travel a lot for work. When I go away, I airbnb my house. It's a 2-bed townhouse down the south end of Newtown. Last year I was away from June until Feb. Until now I've had a friend & neighbour be my point person and cleaner, but she just got a full-time job so isn't available any more. I've been charging guests an $80 cleaning fee, which goes directly to Kate, based on 3 hours at $25/hr. If it takes longer I pay for however long it takes. She keeps a record of any other time spent. Front loader washing machine so takes hours. Kate would either put things on then come back for them later, or for big loads go to the laundrette (for which reimbursed). All cleaning supplies should already be in the house, but if anything needs buying the Marrickville Metro is less than 5 mins walk away. Previously I've bought things online and Kate has collected them, from Kmart or Woolies. I do all airbnb bookings & online interactions myself. Ideally you would do the key handover when guests arrive, but I do also have a lockbox. I don't advertise that in the listing, so that guests don't think they will arrive sight unseen. When guests depart they leave the key and lock the door behind them. I leave at least a day between bookings to give time for cleaning. I have a minimum stay of 3 nights. You shouldn't need to have anything to do with guests once checked in unless there's an emergency and I'm not contactable (e.g. I'm outback out of range, or overseas in a different time zone). I'm also quite picky on guests as it's my home, not a professional listing - if something seems off or I sense a potential problem, I decline the booking. - Due date: Flexible

Hi all! We have a very successful Airbnb in Sydney. We are hoping to get regular help with cleaning and presenting/preparing the property. We were hoping to get someone in this week as a test run to start with a general clean with tenants who are in there at the moment. The place will be free to clean and includes floors, kitchen bathrooms, etc. I can do a full run down on inquiry. A husband and wife team may also be handy for the long term or someone who doesn't mind also doing a little light gardening and/or cleaning of the courtyard which usually involves using the leaf blower and a hose down, or small maintenance jobs as/if required.
