Looking for an experienced carpenter or handyman to repair old termite damage in a weatherboard house. Scope of work: Subfloor Beam: One structural beam has old termite damage. Looking to "sister" the beam with a new treated timber (H3/H4) to reinforce it. (No live termites present, verified by 2026 inspection). Living Floorboards: Replace approximately 5-10 damaged floorboards in the first bedroom. Needs to be "toothed in" to match the existing floor. Optional: Check for any other obvious moisture issues in the subfloor. Materials: I am happy to pay for materials separately or you can include them in the quote (please specify). Access: Good subfloor access. Timing: Flexible, but ideally within the next 2 weeks.

I like to use an old steel gate to be installed with palings on the side to close 2m wide on the side of the house, side access for rubbish bins. Supply and install required timber post including concrete footing either side of steel gate to hinge on one side. Provide bolting mechanism. Use existing paling materials if possible.

Floors had some sticky substance stuck to it. Tried to remove it then it turnee pale. Put baking powder/water then olive oil to remove the light stains and now its darker. Need help removing the stain and match the floor as closely as possible to original finish without fixing the whole thing. Need an expert.
