We need an experienced carpenter to: 1. install a timber hand rail all around the front verandah in front and porch at the side of the house (about 28m long, designed in the attached drawing) 2. build a small deck (3.9m long, 1m wide) which has a back and a front (look like a long chair), and either a small barrier or wire rope in front for safety. We'd like to get a quote for labour, brackets, and screws, etc. We provide all the timber and cement. No painting or oiling needed, just installation. The job needs to be done by Sunday, 28 Sept 2025. Timber and cement are at the side, ready to be installed. Please send us a quote. Thanks

Hi Everyone, I am requesting a quote for the following painting jobs: 1. For skirting throughout the house excluding Garage (Refer to attached floor plans of the house): i. Patching and sanding the skirting boards with nail holes all around the house, moving all the furniture out of the way. ii. Applying 2 coats of final gloss paint to previously undercoated skirting while protecting the floor using protective covering to avoid getting paint on the floor. iii. Seal the skirting bottom with Silicon and seal the skirting top with Selleys No More Gap or reputable brand. Please provide the price including supply of all ancillary materials including but not limited to all required paint, paint brushes, filler for patching nail holes, Silicon, No More Gap, cleaning and protective covering supplies etc. The length of skirting is approx. 150m lineal meters and garage skirting painting is not required as its already completed. 2. Supply and install timber pieces to seal the garage door architrave gap on both sides and paint it (refer to attached photos). 3. Paint the engraved text "JUST CHILLAX" on the internal door with closest matching color with "Jarrah" color floor (see the photo). The paint will be supplied by me. 4. Touch up paint and gyprock repair at multiple locations in the house and painting two 200x100mm wooden blocks around two wall lights (see attached photo of wall light). Also, one of the timber block is slightly crooked which needs to be straightened up or a new timber block is to be supplied, cut and installed for wall light to be installed straight. Please note that I am after a high quality finish for all the work. All paint and ancillary materials are to be supplied by the contractor. Note it’s a brand new house and paint/gyprock scratches are due to furniture moving in and electrical fitting installation.

1. Remove this small useless brick wall. measures 250cm deep and 210cm high. It is non-loading bearing (advised by building surveyor), no electricity or pipes to deal with. It is purely a wall to seperate fridge cavity to adjoining cupboard. No need to preserve bricks. please provide two quotes: one quote for demolish only and one quote for demolish wall and re-gig existing cupboard to fit newly created space around fridge and washing machine. What i mean by this is: once wall is down, i will have created a new space to move washing machine into. I would like to use existing timber to build (and in some cases just adjust existing cabinets) frame around machine and dryer to look consistent.

I am looking for a skilled carpenter or handyman to cut to size timber moulding to add paneling to my existing kitchen doors. Drill holes for handles. Doors and drawers are mostly modular allowing to use template for cutting. Cut 3 mdf trips to sit behind skirting board to be flush with existing door as shown in picture. Installation not required. Must have own mitre saw, table saw for joinery and drill.
