Looking for an experienced cabinet maker to design and build a high-end custom built-in wardrobe. I don’t have an exact design yet, so I’m looking for someone who can work with me to design the layout and make the most of the space. The space is approximately 2.6m high x 2.4m long on the main wall. I would like a vanity coming out of one side of the vanity in an L shape so it feels connected to the wardrobe.

What I need I’m an artist making handmade wall art and I’m looking for an experienced carpenter, cabinet maker or skilled handyman to spend around 1–2 hours teaching me some practical finishing techniques. I already make my own pieces, but there are a few final woodworking steps I’m not experienced with yet, and I want to learn how to do them properly for a clean, professional finish. What I’d like to learn * How to safely and correctly use a router, including choosing the right bit, setting the depth and getting a clean edge. * The best way to finish and/or shape the edges of MDF/wood boards. * How to avoid chipping, splintering or damaging the surface. * The best hanging systems for artwork, depending on the size and weight of the piece. * How to correctly install D-rings, French cleats, keyhole hangers or other suitable systems. * How to position hangers so the artwork hangs perfectly level and securely. * Any professional tips or tricks that would give my pieces a more polished finish. I would prefer someone who is happy to teach and demonstrate while I do the work myself, rather than simply completing the jobs for me. I can provide my own materials/tools if required, and I’m happy to discuss exactly what I need beforehand. Looking for someone patient, experienced and practical who can teach me the right techniques rather than just do the work.

I’m self-managing a whole-home renovation in Thomastown (floor plan already completed by my building draftsman) and need a joinery draftsperson to produce precise, manufacture-ready technical drawings for custom cabinetry. This is a drafting-only engagement — I am sourcing and manufacturing the joinery overseas, not through a local cabinetmaker, so I need documentation precise enough to hand directly to an overseas manufacturer. • 2 built-in robes (BIRs) • 2 walk-in robes (WIRs) • 2 kitchens • 1 walk-in pantry • 3 bathroom areas (vanities/joinery) • Laundry Deliverables required: • 2D joinery drawings (plan, elevation, and section views) • 3D renders • Exact dimensions: length, width, depth, panel thickness, and installation tolerances • Material specifications: timber types, MDF, plywood, veneers, laminates, finish/colour schedules • Hardware integration: exact locations and models for hinges, handles, drawer runners, locks, integrated LED channels • Construction methods: detailed cross-sections showing joint types (dovetail, dowel, mitre), carcass assembly, and wall-fixing attachments Important: Measurements must be precise — this joinery is being manufactured overseas and shipped, so there’s no opportunity for on-site adjustment. Not sure how much this usually costs so will consider all offers

Looking for an experienced carpenter to fix a door jamb to an opening (approx 1.8m x 0.82m) and some timber around the top of door for gyprock nailing plate ( I have timber). Also nail gun a couple of timber studs/blocks in the short wall frame so it's firm for gyprock (5-10 minutes max). Job at West Pennant Hills. I have a door jamb set that will need to be cut to size
