Looking to find someone who’s able to build a wooden Dog house for our dog who’s a big boy would love for there to be porch for him to lay on In front too. Nothing to fancy can be made from recycled wooden pallets or scrap wood. We have a fenced off area that he’s in currently so there’s a lot of space to work with wouldn’t need to be too big either. Something that’s also easy to move aswell. Photos attached are just inspo 😅 in regards to the porch and size would need to be good for a large dog enough space for a dog bed and space for him to lay in the front. Not fussed on how it looks either !!

Hi! My name is Amy and I (with the help of a carpenter) have designed and made a prototype of a very large frame. The frame is made from recycled wood, glass and painted plywood that slides in and out so you’re able to change out the artwork. The corners have been connected with deep tongue and grooves. It has a spherical hollowed out bit at the top so the plywood can be pulled in and out. I’m looking for a carpenter who can help me fix up the prototype by widening the bottom and top slots, but more importantly I need someone to teach me how to build the entire frame from scratch so that I’m confident building them on my own. This includes figuring out if I’ll need access to a workshop or if it’s viable for me to set up an appropriate workstation at home that can accommodate everything I need. My goal is to produce a high-quality product that can be mounted to a wall. I am an extreme beginner to carpentry but I have done a few basic things and consider myself handy. To Summarize: I’m looking for a furniture-grade carpenter who’s happy to teach. Scope: * Tidy prototype: widen the top/bottom slots the ply rides in; general fit/finish. * Teach & co-build a repeatable version from scratch (cut list, jigs, assembly order, finishes, wall-mount solution). * Advise on workspace: whether I should use a workshop in future or set up a safe home workstation. Cadence & timing: ~once a week session, evenings or weekends until done. Location: Inner West Sydney (I can travel within reason). Pay: Hourly or fixed per milestone + materials. Please reply with: your website/ portfolio/ or 1–3 photos of similar work (furniture etc), your hourly rate, where you can work (workshop/home), and your next 2–3 available evenings/weekend slots. I’ll also need your ABN and a tax invoice for each session. I’m a beginner but handy; aiming for a high-quality finish. Friendly vibe, collaborative build. After a leak in our fridge filter, the timber-look flooring panels below and in front of the fridge have expanded due to the moisture running under the floor. Need to replace the flooring panels. We have spare matching panels that can be used, just need a flooring installer to complete the work. Quadding has also been waterlogged and needs replacing around the area.
