Carpentry. Replace a 100mm dia. Pine log pergola beam that has rotted and split in half. The pine log is approx. 3.5m long and notched at each end and fixed to supports. We will place this inside of the polycarbonate roof so the beam doesn’t rot out again.

Looking for a skilled cabinetmaker/carpenter to build a custom floor-to-ceiling storage cabinet with an open bookshelf on one side, similar to the attached reference photos. The space is under 2m wide with a slanted ceiling, and I’d like the cabinetry fitted neatly to the ceiling/walls for a built-in look. Would like it painted white to match the existing walls for a seamless finish. Exact measurements can be taken on site. Open to recommendations on materials and design.

I have kitchen drawers that are misaligned/damaged and need repairing. One drawer is sitting crooked and may have an issue with the runners or drawer fixings. There is also a lower drawer/panel that has previously been screwed closed. Looking for someone experienced with kitchen cabinetry/drawer repairs to assess and repair properly, including replacing runners or fixings if necessary - including re-attaching knobs. Please bring appropriate tools and standard fixings. Any replacement parts beyond standard fixings to be agreed before purchase. Photos attached.

Looking for an experienced carpenter/joiner to complete two custom timber projects for our jewellery studio in Enmore, Sydney: 1. Freestanding jeweller’s workbench - Build + install custom spotted gum workbench - Plans/specifications provided - We have existing spotted gum timber + cabinetry from our previous studio that we’d ideally like repurposed where possible - Assess existing materials and advise what additional timber/materials are required 2. Slatted timber room divider - Approx. 165cm wide x 251cm high - Ideally constructed from the same/complementary timber as the workbench - Floor-to-ceiling slatted design - Needs to provide privacy while remaining visually open - Ideally removable/minimal impact to the existing floor + ceiling as we lease the space - Mock-up provided, but happy for carpenter to recommend the best construction/fixing method + slat spacing We’ll provide the plans, measurements, photos and existing timber/cabinetry, and will cover the cost of any additional timber/materials required. Looking for someone who can assess, construct and install both pieces. Please include your availability, estimated timeframe and examples of any similar custom joinery/furniture work.
