I need an experienced cabinet maker or skilled handyman to repair a water-damaged bathroom vanity and reinstall drawer runners. The Problem: Water has caused the bottom edge of the internal melamine-faced central particleboard dividers to swell. The blistered material has reduced the horizontal clearance inside the cabinet, causing the drawers to bind and preventing them from sliding smoothly. The Task: Cut away the blistered white melamine on the internal dividers. Shave down the swollen wood core until it is completely flush with the surrounding panel. Fill and seal the exposed area with a waterproof two-part epoxy (e.g., Builders Bog) and sand it perfectly flat. Reinstall the drawer runners. Ensure the drawer box and the timber faceplate are properly aligned and operate smoothly upon completion. Materials & Tools: I have he draw runners. You will need to supply the necessary tools, epoxy wood filler, and any specific mounting screws or timber packers required for the installation. I'm seeking someone who understands commercial furniture requirements and can advise on appropriate safety, durability, stability and engineering considerations. I am looking for an experienced woodworker, furniture maker, CNC operator or cabinet maker to manufacture a custom set of professional maderotherapy (wood therapy) massage tools. The tools will be made from solid beech wood (preferred) and need to be smooth, durable and suitable for professional body treatments. After a ballpark estimate (not a fixed quote) to supply and install one built-in wardrobe in our master bedroom, Petersham. Full site measure to follow later. Room is stripped to studs, so access is clear. No existing robe to remove. Dimensions (approx, confirm on measure): W2350 x H2500 x D600mm. Build doors and carcass to a standard ~2400mm, then make up the balance with a kicker and a top fill panel, scribed on site. Heritage building, please allow for out-of-square walls. Right-hand end is an exposed return finished to match. Doors: hinged, heavy-duty soft-close concealed hinges, around 4 doors (your call). External finish: natural timber veneer, Tasmanian Blackwood or American Walnut (or similar), quarter cut, slip or sequence matched, open-pore matte clear. Standard MDF substrate is fine (price plywood as an alternative). Internal carcass: black low-pressure laminate with matching black ABS edges. Layout (open to your suggestions): shared his-and-hers, a mix of long and short hang, a bank of drawers, internal mirror on one door, internal LED (sensor or door activated). Hardware: soft-close Blum, Hettich, Salice, Grass or similar, happy to mix brands on your recommendation. Please price separately: Doors in real veneer vs a timber-look laminate (same look; I may swap doors later) Blackwood vs Walnut MDF vs plywood Hinge/runner options you recommend Handles: A) integrated J-pull, or B) just drill for surface handles I supply (brass "vinyl record" pulls) Also your typical lead time
