Hi, I need an experienced cabinet maker or joiner with a professional workshop setup to fabricate 5 cabinet doors and 1 side panel. This job must be completed off-site at your workshop and delivered back finished. The Design Setup (High Attention to Detail Needed): • Face & Reverse: The front laminate sheet and the back laminate sheet are different colours. • Edges: Each of the four edges on the doors/panel will feature a different colour ABS edging (e.g., matching the face, reverse, or specific accent borders). Precise attention to detail is required to ensure the correct edging goes on the correct side. What needs to be done: 1. Supply Substrate: You must supply the 16mm Moisture Resistant (MR) MDF core sheets. 2. Pick Up Materials: Collect the raw materials from my location in Seaford Vic 3. Laminate Pressing: Glue and press the laminates flat onto both sides of the 16mm MR MDF core using proper workshop pressing equipment (no air bubbles or telegraphing). 4. Precision Cutting: Cut the sheets cleanly down to the final sizes without chipping the laminate. 5. Multi-Colour Edge Banding: Apply the specific ABS edging variations to each designated border and trim flush. 6. Delivery: Drop off the 6 completed, finished pieces to my address. Approximate dimensions of finished pieces: • 5 x Doors: Roughly 60cm x 80cm each • 1 x Side Panel: Roughly 60cm x 80cm What I will provide: • 2 x Large sheets of laminate (1.8m x 3.6m each — two different colours) • All required rolls of ABS edging (in the different colours needed) What you must have/supply: • Supply of the required 16mm MR MDF sheets. • Commercial workshop setup (cold/hot press, precision panel saw, and edge-bander/trimmer). • Transport to pick up the 1.8m x 3.6m sheets and deliver the finished doors safely. Please outline your experience with custom laminate work and your estimated turnaround time in your offer. Thank you!

Time and date to be confirmed for after the long weekend. Thanks My bathroom cabinet has lost one of the hinges from its 2 symmetrical doors. Both hinges will likely need replacement because they are old and replacement hinges sold today are slightly different. EDIT I have included pictures of the new hinges I purchased and tried, which didn't work. Update, here is a clearer picture of the job, summarised by AI. I don't want it to appear too straightforward and have potential taskers feel they weren't given adequate notice of the following: 🛠️ Summary of the Task & Key Complexities The job is to fix a bathroom mirrored cabinet door. This is not a simple “remove old hinge, install new hinge” task. 🚩 Core Issue The cabinet is 10+ years old, and the original hinge system is no longer manufactured. A standard replacement hinge does not align with the existing mounting points inside the cabinet. This means: • A new hinge cannot be installed using the existing screw holes • The door cannot be re-mounted using a simple swap‑over • The task requires measurement, alignment, and problem‑solving, not just replacing parts.
