I’m looking for an experienced carpenter/joiner or custom TV feature-wall specialist to design and build a feature wall in my living room The existing wall is brick and measures approximately 3,660mm wide × 2,340mm high (floor to cornice). Scope of work * Create a full-height TV feature wall covering the existing brick wall edge-to-edge. * Finish with a light oak / blackbutt timber veneer-look panel. * Mount the existing TV securely onto the new feature wall. * Conceal all TV cables, power points and wiring for a clean finish. * Create integrated storage in the right-hand corner, currently occupied by a printer and Buddha statue. * Build a concealed printer cabinet with a roller shutter/tambour door. * Add an open display shelf above for a Buddha statue, small trophies and framed photos. * Ensure the cabinetry and feature wall are neatly integrated and finished to a high standard. * Please allow for practical access to the printer and electrical points. I’m open to professional suggestions regarding the exact design, materials, veneer finish, cabinet construction and lighting, if appropriate. I need a small section cut out of a kitchen cabinet shelf to fit my new refrigerator into place, in Pyrmont . The cabinet is above the fridge and only half depth, so only the front portion of the shelf needs a notch cut. The cutout needs to be roughly six inches by six inches to clear a raised cap on top of the fridge. This should be a short job for someone experienced with carpentry or cabinetry who has their own tools. Ideally completed this coming weekend. I’m looking for an experienced cabinet maker or carpenter to supply and install custom cupboard doors across the open shelving in my walk-in pantry in Officer, VIC. I would like the pantry enclosed with hinged doors similar to the cabinet doors shown in the reference photo—preferably dark woodgrain laminate with silver handles, or the closest available match. The job should include: • Inspecting and accurately measuring the pantry • Supplying and cutting suitable cabinet doors/panels • Installing hinges, handles and any framing or supports required • Ensuring all doors are properly aligned and open and close smoothly • Providing a neat, professional finish • Removing any installation waste Please provide a quote including all materials, hardware and labour. Looking for: * L-shaped bench running along the back wall with a shorter return along the left-hand wall. * Compact design suitable for a small apartment. * Seating for approximately 3–4 people. * Simple, clean construction using timber/MDF or another recommended material. * Finished/painted to blend with the existing walls and interior. * Storage underneath if practical (happy to discuss options). * Strong and sturdy enough for everyday dining. * No cushions or upholstery required — just the built-in bench structure. * Similar overall style and proportions to the attached reference image. Budget: approximately $800–$1,200 including labour and materials, however I’m open to reasonable quotes depending on the recommended construction and materials. I have an open pantry space in my kitchen that needs to be fitted out with shelving and doors. Scope: ▪️Two narrow panels fitted to the sides of the existing kitchen cabinetry, for the doors to hang from. ▪️Doors to match existing IKEA melamine doors in the kitchen (confirmed a match is available). ▪️Fixed shelving mounted to the back wall with appropriate support underneath to hold the weight of glass jars, tins, and pantry items. Material open to the tradesperson's recommendation, doesn't need to match the IKEA melamine, but if it isn't melamine it will need to be painted white. ◾️Perforated copper inlay detail, will discuss placement and finish on site. ◾️No cabinet box needed, this is a simpler build attached directly to the space. Approximate Measurements: 238cm height, 74cm (opening) - 170cm (back) width, 58cm depth Details: ▪️Materials to be sourced and quoted by the tradesperson. ▪️Measurement to be confirmed on site before the job is priced. ▪️Budget shown is a rough guide only, final quote after inspection. Needed by end of September. Comparing quotes from more than one tradesperson before confirming, will go with whichever fits best for the job. Photos attached.
