Need a Carpenter to Install a Door in a Non-Standard Space Hi there, I need help installing a door in a space with unusual measurements. The opening is 1.13m wide x 2.04m high, which doesn’t fit any standard-sized doors. My Proposed Solution: To make this work, I’m thinking we can build the frame inwards using timber (I found 19mm door jambs at Bunnings). Installing one on each side would reduce the width from 1.13m to around 0.75m, which matches a more standard door size. What I Need: A carpenter who can: Build out the frame as needed Install the door, including hinges and lock Ensure everything is level, secure, and properly finished Advice on any additional materials I need to buy ahead of time Completion of the job including door lock installation

Need a pet house built from timber. Approx 850mm x 670mm with 460mm height. Have the dimensions drawn up and a cardboard model for reference. Note the curved edges. Needs a base and top too - plywood is fine - it will be for indoor use. Ideally lid should be removable with recess tracks to click into place. Can be done remotely and picked up once completed. I’m based in Coorparoo.

Small section of timber laminate flooring is raised/has an air pocket underneath in a corridor of my apartment (approx 2x3 area). Keeps lifting and depressing when you step on it to walk through. Would love if a handyman can guess if this is a quick fix or bigger job. Rest of the house is fine, just the corridor area is raised. Thanks.

Sunroom Timber Window Frames The timber framing of the rear side glass windows in the sunroom area is starting to show rotted areas at the footer ground. The compromised timber allows wind-driven rain to penetrate, leading to water entering beneath the sunroom’s internal flooring tiles. Recommendation: Work to remove and replace all affected timber window frames to ensure a watertight seal and structural integrity.
