I will provide photos and videos and the music. I would like someone to create a video mixing the photos and videos so that it works with the music and appears professionally edited and mixed. It will be 2 songs in length so approximately 8 minutes. It is from a recent hiking trip to Yosemite where a friend got engaged. See photos for examples. The project: a 5-minute documentary celebrating 40 years of Mercy International, a charity that has provided a home, family and education to children in Thailand since 1986. The film is to be shown before speeches at community events where the charity's story will be shared with supporters and partners so it needs to be finished, polished and export-ready in time. Where it's at: I've been editing this myself, and it's almost done; then my laptop completely broke and can't be revived in time. I can't finish it, but you won't be starting from anything close to zero: All creative direction is locked. Complete paper edit: every clip, timecode, story beat and title card specified the film is designed, it just needs finishing hands Most of the edit is already cut a near-complete assembly exists as your reference; however, it is only the speaking parts and requires the B-roll montage and music to be added All footage organised on a hard drive: 4K interviews, 2002 archival documentary, drone/B-roll, photo montages (each file individually named and cross-referenced with specific timings in the paper edit) Full interview transcripts with timecodes Licensed music selected (Epidemic Sound) English subtitles for the Thai-language sections, written and timed You need: your own edit suite (FCP preferred — FCPXML project files supplied — but Premiere/Resolve fine, the paper edit translates), and availability now. Deliverable: finished 5-min cut — trims per the paper edit, B-roll laid in, music mixed, subtitles on, 1080p/4K export. Timeframe: days, not weeks. It's genuinely close to done — this is a finishing job, not a rebuild. Pay: $200 AUD, negotiable on experience. Happy to jump on a call ASAP to discuss; reply with something you've cut before and when you can start/timings.
