An iPhone locked from iCloud is essentially useless. You can’t access any of the phone’s features unless the original owner enters the Apple ID and password on the device’s lock screen. This problem can arise if the owner misplaced the device and someone else made several attempts to unlock the phone—triggering iCloud’s security feature. The owner could also have marked the phone as “lost,” removing it from the list of devices on the owner’s Apple ID.
Yes, you can link a desktop or laptop PC to iCloud. Ask your Tasker to help you install iCloud for Windows. This process is useful if you work on a home PC and still want to manage your Apple devices. For a more efficient home office, you can also hire someone to install new wiring or add electrical outlets to your home. You can even hire someone to put together a new PC if you need another workstation.
Apart from unlocking iCloud after it gets locked due to tampering, you can unlock iCloud to switch phone carriers. Let’s say you move to another state where your current carrier has a weak signal or limited features. You can have your current iPhone unlocked to operate with a carrier that has better service in your new location. This is more cost-efficient and less of a hassle than signing up for a new plan with another service and getting another phone.
Yes. Apple allows the updated iCloud version to work even on older devices like the iPhone 6 and 7. If you have either of these or any other older Apple devices and need help setting up iCloud, you can book a Tasker to assist you. While setting up iCloud, be sure to have a strong internet connection and ample battery charge, so your device can maintain a connection with iCloud servers.
In some cases, yes. Suppose someone else tried to access your iPhone repeatedly, which activated the lock feature. In this case, you can simply enter your Apple ID and password if the prompt appears. If there is no prompt and your iPhone is locked, contact Apple support or book a Tasker for assistance. Don’t try random software or an online app that promises to unlock iCloud for a fee; Such options are often scams.
Without iCloud, you won’t be able to sync your apps and data across devices. Every iPhone user gets 5GB of free data storage on iCloud, and once used up, you can upgrade to more storage space by paying a monthly fee. iCloud is useful for retrieving apps, music files, photos, and old conversations when you sync a new device. But most other iPhone features remain unaffected if you don’t use iCloud.

What do iCloud setup services include?
iCloud setup services include all the tasks necessary to connect your Apple devices to iCloud, such as iPhones, iPads, Macs, and iPod Touches. Other devices include Apple Watches, Apple TVs (3rd generation and up), and even PCs.
The setup process can include creating an Apple ID if it’s your first time owning an Apple product. Some Taskers can also provide you with an iCloud unlock service if you get locked out of your iPhone and can’t remember your password, or would like to switch carriers.
Whether you need in-person or remote assistance with your iCloud concerns, Taskers are here to help! Here are iCloud setup services you can get done:
Setting up your Apple ID
If you’re new to using Apple products, your Tasker can help you create your Apple ID. Your Tasker can guide you through the steps in creating your Apple ID until your Apple device is registered with iCloud. Note that while setting up iCloud on each device, you’ll have to register a valid email address, along with other sensitive information like your credit card number and a new password.
Below are some tips when creating a password for your Apple ID:
Create a password of at least 8 characters.
Use uppercase and lowercase characters, numbers, and symbols for added security.
Avoid using a generic password like “password1234.”
You can change your password later, but you’ll need to enter the current password to do so.
iCloud setup will ask you to provide 3 “security questions”—questions only you know the answers to. Choose from the provided questions, then write down your specific answers but don’t share these details with your Tasker. The prompt will then ask if you agree to Apple iCloud’s Terms and Conditions. Once you’ve agreed to these terms, you’re done with the iCloud setup!
Setting up on other devices
If you have more than one Apple iOS device, your Tasker can walk you through setting up iCloud on them. The process is similar but with a few variations, so be prepared with your Apple ID and password.
Do you have an Apple device locked from iCloud and unusable due to accidental deactivation or tampering by other people who didn’t know the password? You don’t have to dispose of your device just yet. Some Taskers can provide you with a trusted iCloud lock removal or unlocking service. Taskers who offer this service may try different ways to unlock the device, such as:
Helping you contact the original owner to unlock the device remotely
Contacting Apple support if appropriate
Bypassing iCloud by using a different DNS
Using iCloud unlocking software
Testing the device
Your Tasker can test the device to ensure that all the features work and perform the necessary fixes should any functional issues arise.
