Licensed Electrician – TV & Soundbar Wall Mount, Power & Antenna Relocation Looking for a licensed electrician to wall-mount a TV and soundbar in my living room and complete the associated electrical and antenna work for a clean finish with no visible cables. I will provide the TV, TV wall-mount bracket and soundbar. The job involves securely installing the TV bracket, mounting and levelling the TV, with the TV sitting as flush to the wall as reasonably possible, as well as installing the soundbar neatly below the TV. There is an existing power point lower down on the same wall. This will need to be relocated higher up or a new power point installed behind the TV, so the TV can plug in directly without a visible power cable. I would also like the TV and soundbar cables concealed within the wall wherever possible, rather than using external conduit or cable covers. This includes the required connection between the TV and soundbar. There is an existing TV antenna connection/cable, which needs to be relocated to the new TV position and terminated neatly at or behind the TV. If the existing cable is long enough, it can simply be rerouted rather than replaced. The aim is a clean, professional installation with no visible wiring below or around the TV and soundbar. There is easy access to the work area. Please refer to the attached photos for the wall layout and existing setup. I am looking for someone who can complete the whole job, including TV and soundbar mounting, electrical work, concealed cabling and antenna relocation. Cut in and roll a tv wall 2100mm wide & 2700mm high. On this wall is an air-con and floating cabinet. I want it to look flawless before a new TV is flush mounted on it. This is a small job really for a good painter. Proper preparation and protection of the floating timber cabinet etc is expected. I have enough paint to complete the task.

Hi there, I have a couple of tasks I’d like completed during the same visit: 1) Sonos & Ceiling Speaker Setup We have around 6 in-ceiling speakers wired back to a central entertainment cupboard. We’d like help connecting these to a couple of Sonos Amps we already have, along with our Sonos soundbar and a few Sonos One speakers (around 8 speakers total). The goal is to have everything properly connected, configured, labelled, and optimised. 2) Ethernet & Cabling We also have several Ethernet points throughout the house connected to a standard NBN fibre router. As we’ve recently purchased the home, we don’t have a wiring map, so we’ll need to identify where each Ethernet port runs (likely a bit of trial and error). There may also be a need to run an additional Ethernet cable under the house (there’s good access) from the hallway to the living room, so cabling experience is important. Payment $200 call-out fee (includes the first hour of labour) $100 per hour thereafter I’m not exactly sure how long the job will take—possibly somewhere between 3 to 6 hours in total. Mount TV to plaster wall. I’m finding it hard to find the studs, my stud finder is being a little funky and the studs I think are in steps? All other tools can be provided including the bracket/ mount. TV is fairly large and going in a child’s room so can’t afford to gamble with this one :) I ended up screwing into where the stud finder told me to and where my knocks confirmed it and only one drill bit come out with timber on it 😳🤔
