Last week our 3 year old LG smart TV (which we brought with us from abroad a couple of years ago) stopped switching on (the red led light won't switch on either). When calling LG they advised they won't be able to service it as it was purchased abroad. Trying to work out if an independent technician could solve this for us or if there is no point since we won't be able to source parts for it if need be. The TV has a regular power cable and no external power brick in place.
