Licensed air-conditioning/refrigeration technician required to lower the existing outdoor unit of a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries split system. Photos and measurements are attached. The job involves lowering the outdoor unit by approximately 400–500 mm if practical, with an ideal finished height of around 1,460 mm from ground level to the bottom of the unit. If a full 400–500 mm drop is not possible, lowering it as far as practical would still be beneficial, even around 300–350 mm. Existing wall brackets can be repositioned or replaced if required. Existing refrigerant pipework may need to be modified or extended. Please recover and reuse the existing refrigerant where possible, and vacuum, pressure test and recharge/top up the system if required. The unit will remain on the same wall and in essentially the same location. Existing wall penetrations and pipe entry points are to remain in place, so no new wall penetrations should be required. Wiring to the internal AC unit should not need to be extended. The wiring between the indoor unit and outdoor fan/compressor unit may need to be lengthened depending on the final position. Budget is approximately $250 for labour/relocation, plus refrigerant if required. Open to reasonable quotes. Must be appropriately licensed for split-system refrigerant work.
