Need a 54mm bore hole drilled into bedroom door. Door is 32mm thick and new door knob has already been purchased. Latch and faceplate are perfectly fine as long as bore hole can be drilled with 60mm backset. Photos provided: 1. New door knob 2. New latch fitted into door 3. Side view new latch 4. Door closed - new latch fits perfectly into existing faceplate. Ruler shows this works with 60mm backset. I can fit the new door knob easily but need someone who has experience and tools to do the bore hole correctly .
