I require an area of the backyard, approx. 60sqm total, to be leveled, approx 50 sqm turfed, with a section of approx. 10.5sqm of pebbles, and 1.5sqm of road base. A small bobcat will be required for the job to clear and level the yard (suppliedd ) The area to be turfed is approx. 21m long x 2.3m wide. Turf will be Empire Zoysia (supplied). The pebble area is in an L-shaped area of approx 21000 x 500mm along the side fence; and 1750 x 150mm along the sandstone retaining wall (adjoins existing pebbles between pavers and retaining wall). Pebbles will be 50mm deep. This area will require a timber border – 200 x 50mm treated pine sleepers (supplied) – between the pebbles and the turf – 24 linear metres in total. Excavate the top 50mm of existing (killed-off) grass and soil, and have this removed from site; and then excavate and re-use the next 50mm of soil to level out the back section of the yard (this would yield approx. 2m3 of fill). Then adding 100mm of turf undersoil (supplied) to the entire area to be turfed, before laying the turf. The area requiring the most fill is in the back corner of the yard, 4000mm x 2200mm, with a sloping drop of approx. 200mm over the 2200mm width. This will require approx. 1m3 of fill. The remaining 1m3 of fill would be used for minor levelling of the rest of the yard. The turf will be level with the existing concrete slab/pavers when laid. A road base slab area 1600x 900mm will be in the front corner of the yard adjoining the front fence and the neighboring property garage wall. This will be 100mm compacted road base (supplied). Assistance in erecting a flat-packed garden shed, locating it on the road base area, and fixing it to the fence/garage wall will be required. There are 2 drains in the yard and I will supply the pipe slab extenders to raise the level of the drains. The turf will be delivered on the morning of day 2 and laid, then the shed constructed and cited.

I am just looking at quotes to totally redo my lawn. Our yard is litteraly a weed field. Just curious what something of this scale would cost. The total land area is 620sqm so i would guess there is around 300sqm of dead grass and weeds that need to be removed and ground prepped for turf laying
