This is more of a labouring job rather than a gardening one - it’s about moving and spreading a lot of mulch over garden beds. We need mulch spread over a very large area of garden bed this weekend. The mulch will arrive in the driveway this Saturday morning (Feb 24) and we need the work done this Saturday and Sunday. To be clear, we will be providing and paying for the mulch, we need you to spread it. We will confirm the amount of mulch tomorrow but will be approx 9 cubic metres of mulch to be spread over the weekend. Because the job needs to be complete by Sunday night, we require a team of people. You will need a wheel burrow and all your own tools to do the job. As seen in the photos, the garden beds are on a slope. The photos provided are from the last time the job was done to indicate our goals, however there is no mulch left on the garden beds now. I have a big pile of gum tree mulch/bark on my front driveway. I’m sick of it being there and I would like it distributed around my front and back grden. It doesn’t have to be perfectly laid out just placed in piles around bushes/trees etc. $30 per hour. - Due date: Flexible

I need help just distributing bags of Bunnings tan bark/mulch onto my garden beds. I will supply the mulch.This would take 30mins. This is a quick job. just empty bags on to soil and spread it around the plants. Finish does not have to be perfect. About 10 bags . The property is a small unit with a backyard. Need someone to move 10 cubic metres of mulch from the nature strip to the garden beds. Garden beds are in the back yard which is down a sloping block. The closest garden beds to the nature strip are 15 metres and the furthest away are 35 metres. Mulch will be multi bark much - which is average wood chip size of approx. 25mm. The location of the property is Eltham. As mentioned before this is a sloping block, which slopes down from front to rear. So the full barrow loads are being moved downhill. I can provide a barrow and long-handle shovel. I have not bought mulch yet, as I need to coordinate with this resource. Need about 5 cubic metres of mulch moved from driveway to the backyard for landscaping. Approximate distance to be moved is 20 to 30 metres depending on the location of the backyard. Backyard is about 3 metres higher than the driveway with access through steps. Can provide timber sleepers to lay down on the steps to roll your wheel barrow on for ease and efficiency.

Need someone to help me prepare a clay based steep slope area (~5m x 8m) that id like to cover with mulch and also create some nooks with edging or by digging into the area where I can plant some things... we planted ground cover plants 2 years ago and they have not been able to grow, so need a different approach now. I’m not sure how long this will take, my husband and I will be available to help. I will need someone with some experience doing something like this to come and look at the area, look at what we have, let us know what else we may need to buy then give us time to buy things so that they can come back and have a productive day or two... The area has been recently weeded and I also have weed mat that could be laid, I just don’t know that mulch will stay up over the mat. So looking for help, ideas, experience in this area, but also a reasonable price. Also happy to change task price to be for a quote and then work out actual price.

Distributing approximately 5 sq meters of mulch onto garden beds

I have some dried plants and I need someone to bring the mulcher and do the mulching. It will be arpund 3 or 4 cubic metre.

I have 3 sections of garden requiring much to be wheeled up from the footpath and spread. In total approximately 5m3 to be spread. Wheelbarrow, fork and rake provided. Mulch will be delivered late Wednesday 2nd December. Job must be done either Thursday the 3rd or Friday the 4th.
