Looking for an experienced gardener to help tidy and maintain an established garden near Hurstville. We’d like to start with a 4-hour session, working through the priority areas. No expectation that everything must be completed in one visit — we’re mainly looking for someone efficient and knowledgeable who can make good progress. Main tasks: - Weeding garden beds and sandstone/terraced areas - Pruning/tidying overgrown shrubs and plants - Removing dead leaves, palm fronds and debris - Tidying around succulents and fruit trees - Garden bed tidy-up and edging - Lawn edging/mowing if needed - Sweep/blow paths and stairs when finished We don’t need landscaping or redesign work — just someone who knows plants and can judge what should be weeded, trimmed or left alone. We have a lawn mower, whipper snipper, hedge trimmer and hand pruning tools onsite. Lawn access is via stairs, so using our mower may be easier than bringing your own. Green waste can go in our green bin where possible. If we’re happy with the work, we’d like to arrange ongoing maintenance every 4–6 weeks. Looking for a reliable local to handle a weekly Saturday morning sweep and tidy ahead of our open house inspections. Scope of Work (approx. 35–45 mins): Thoroughly sweep/blow leaves from the dual driveway, front entrance, and backyard patio. Here is a photo of the backyard. There are two garden beds on the sides that just need to be tidied up and cut back where necessary. Anything growing over the fence from the neighbour’s side can be left as it is, as it was already like that when we moved in. The main job is to tidy the paved area by removing or cutting back the weeds and grass growing between the pavers. It doesn’t need to be done by hand, as long as the area looks clean and tidy afterwards. There is also a small side passage running alongside the house up to the street that needs the same treatment, including the weeds around the small steps and the second entrance. Basically, just looking for someone to make the whole outdoor area look clean and presentable.
