The timbers supporting the decking wood in my garden seating area crumbled. I have taken the decking off and kept it (to be re-installed), and removed all of the old rotten timber’s that were supporting it. I’ve kept some of them to show how they were attached. I am looking for someone to reinstall the three main support timbers, cross timbers and cladding, and then out the original decking back in place. There are bolts mounted in the brick structure for the wood to be attached to. The job basically involves cutting, drilling and some nailing. I have bought all of the timber already and have most of the measurements needed for the cuts. The pictures show the old Timbers still in place and then the empty structure once they have all been removed. There is also a photo of another part of the seating which is intact.

I’m in the process of restoring a Victorian Coalbrookdale garden seat. I’m fine to re-paint it but I don’t have the tools or the skills to replace the timber slats and do a good job. I need someone handy who can cut timber to lengths and drill holes. All materials with be provided. There are 6 slats in total, the longest is about 1.4 down to about 1.1. Timber will be 19mm x 44mm Tas Oak. Slats will be removed prior to works starting. Seat is very, very heavy so work would probably need to be done on site.
