We just moved into a new place and would like to have a proper check of smoke alarm system.

Hi Handyman, I have two smoke alarms in my apartment which need to have batteries installed in them (since batteries have been removed). However, having issues opening the smoke alarms to replace batteries. I'm not sure if the cover is jammed. Also, please bring a stool or chair as it is an unfurnished apartment so will need to be tall enough to reach the smoke alarms. Looking for someone experienced with this. Thanks! Cheers, William

Hello, We have recently moved to a new house and I would like to get some things done and some other things inspected. The person should visit the house and provide consultation and quote. I need an inspection for 1. Smoke alarms (The smoke alarm went off suddenly without any reason and I want to make sure that doesn't happen any more. I are not sure about the type of alarm system as it seems to have AC connection. But if not, then some potential battery replacements are needed. The house has high ceilings so some of the alarms are difficult to reach.) 2. Solar power installation. The site already has the solar unit installed but want to check if this is working fine. I also want to add some more switch boards on the kitchen tops and maybe some on ceiling. For which I need someone to take a look and give me a decent quote. Thanks, Aashutosh
