the port where the cable for the modem is suppose to plug in (at the wall) is broken ? think previous tennants have broken it whilst pulling it out - tried to tape it so it would go into start with, but now that is not working so unable to connect the modem to the port in the wall??? I have a house that was built in 2013. I am connected to fibre internet, and am meant to have upto 100mps but the speed is SOO SLOW. Can someone quote me to replace my data cable in my house to cat 8? or cat7? I think i have cat5. The data point is only to my study, maybe to the pit? not sure how it works.
